Introductory consultations
Introductory consultations are completely free. A consultation may be rearranged by emailing contact@cresswellacademic.com.
At least 24 hours’ notice
A confirmed lesson may be cancelled or rearranged without charge when Cresswell receives at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start. Any prepaid amount for that lesson will be credited or refunded.
Less than 24 hours’ notice
Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or the student does not attend, the full SAT lesson charge may be applied because the tutor’s time was reserved. Cresswell may waive the charge where exceptional circumstances make that fair.
Cancellations by Cresswell or a tutor
If Cresswell or the tutor cancels, the family may choose a replacement time, an appropriate replacement tutor, a credit or a refund for the affected prepaid lesson.
Programmes and statutory rights
Any intensive or ongoing programme may have additional terms confirmed before purchase. Applicable statutory consumer cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected, including any 14-day withdrawal right for a distance contract.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds are processed manually to the original payer or agreed bank account within a reasonable period, ordinarily no later than 14 days after approval.
